Charity Shop Retail Manager
- From £18,182 to £19,695 per annum depending upon skills and abilities. A permanent contract is offered.
- 36 hours per week in a rota with the two shop managers
- Based at Addiscombe shop and Crystal Palace shop (the ‘Enterprise’ shop)
We are looking for a person with management experience in retail (ideally in a charity) and good interpersonal skills to be our Retail Manager. Working in a cluster model, you will staff each shop on a rota basis, relieving each shop manager at both sites. You will also supervise the shop managers spending a short time each week in the shop with them to discuss working practices, provide supervision etc.
You will have overall responsibility at our outlets (which we hope at some point to increase to 3) for maximising profits, devising policies and rotas, and ensuring consistency over the outlets towards customers and volunteers. You will increase donations and volunteer numbers and retention. You will be self motivated and reliable with the enthusiasm and commitment to ensure our retail success and to expand our retail operation. You will be responsible for providing a seamless service even during holidays and sickness leave, to keep both shops open Monday to Saturday 10.00 – 17.00.
