National Hoarders Awareness Week 16th-20th May 2016
AmicusHorizon has partnered with clinical psychologists Helena Drury and Alice Kerr from SLAM to hold an event for people with hoarding issues.
There’ll be a short presentation on Hoarding Disorder and a practical session on sorting through items and making decisions about whether to keep them/let them go. People will be asked to bring along something they are having difficulty discarding. AmicusHorizon will dispose of the items appropriately (recycling, confidential waste, charity shops).
